1937 Dodge coupe grill

Hi

Just picked up a 1937 Dodge coupe. No grill with the car. Actually a VERY nice 1937 Plymouth grill with the car, but I really don't want to butcher it or the freshly car to make it fit.

There's a 37 Dodge grill on an auction site, but it does not include the trim/mouldings that go around the grill.

I'm foolishly wondering if anyone here would have a picture of the front of a 37 Dodge with the grill installed, but with NO mouldings installed. Basically I want to see how it would look without the mouldings. I see mouldings for sale on the same site, but NOS and $2400!!! Ah no. I'll build my own grill first.

Any help with or without pics would be appreciated.

I can't help you but am just fascinated beyond belief that a car would get completed and painted and not have a grill to put in it! Parts like that have to be trial fit before paint, to not even have one, that is just wild.

Are you SURE there was no grille with the car? Have you discussed it with the guy you bought the car from? Was the car apart?

Positive and yes. I think his plans were to modify the included Plymouth grill to try and make it work. I won't because it's too nice to cut up.
