1944 H Farmall Driving by Green Valley Lake

This is my first 360 degree video attempt. I attached a 360 degree camera to our 1944 H Farmall and drove past Green Valley Lake North of Creston, Iowa pulling the Dixon ZTR mowers that I bought at the auction I attended Saturday in Creston. I can only see the back half of the video, for some reason I'm not getting the front half to display. I'm not sure if the problem is with the video or my computer at this point. Someone be sure to tell me how it looks on your device.

One friend of mine thought I was crazy for driving the H all the way down to Creston but just look at the fun I'm having. :)

Love the old tractors. It looks like the front end is in good shape because no steering wheel wobble. See pic of my Allis-Chalmers from last winter.

Nice Allis! I have a WD45 but it's not as pretty as yours. :)

I believe I found the mistake I made when I edited this first 360 degree video. I was so excited to start editing all the footage I took yesterday driving the 1941 M Farmall in the tractor ride and the parade that I couldn't stay in bed any longer, I got up at 4:30 am and got to work on it. I see a little checkbox that has 180 and 360 degree video choices when you add the metadata into the video with Google vr180 Creator. I had been in such a hurry to see my 1st video I missed that with it so I'm assuming I uploaded it to Youtube with 180 degree metadata so that's all Youtube will display. It's pretty easy for me to miss something when working with a new program and I'm all eager to see the results.

My son showed me a setting on his phone, the vr setting that I did get to see the front half of the video but it isn't that way that it should be done.

Driving the old tractors around always brings a smile to my face. Some of my friends think I'm crazy taking off and driving these old machines so far from home at times but there are others that understand perfectly. Why have them if you don't use them they say and I still use mine for actually working tasks other than just driving around. You only live once, might as well enjoy it.

I'm overtaxing my computer for the next 3 hours or so as I'm adding the 360 metadata into one of the parade videos I took yesterday and uploading a 1080p tractor ride video to Youtube right now so I'm pretty much maxing out my processor. :)

I'm really excited about this next 360 degree video, 4th of July parade #2. My buddy Jeff that owns the 1941 M and invited me on the tractor ride and to drive his tractor in the parade got all excited when I told him about my new 360 degree cameras so he built me a mount to get the camera up in the air above my head. Jeff is an excellent welder and fabricator as well as being a great friend. :) From the thumbnail I see of the video I have a nice view of Leo's 1952 8N Ford that his dad bought new. I think it will be fun to be able to rotate around and see the crowd as well as the tractors in front and behind me. Jeff was having a lot of fun squirting the crowd with the squirt gun type thing he built into his Oliver 66. He got my wife and made her scream when we rolled by. My grandson was my co-driver in the parade wearing his yellow Pikachu hat.
