1948 Ford Coupe manual

I'm looking for a comprehensive manual for assembly of a '48 Ford Coupe basket case. Specifically dash and under dash components and assembly (cowl vent, wipers, etc). Anyone out there with a direction? Thanks

This looks like what you need.

1947 1948 1949 1950 1951 1952 Ford Body Parts Manual Car & Truck Victoria Fordor | eBay

I have to tell you, I have done this for a living for 40 years, have worked on about every car you can imagine in one way or another. I never used a manual of any kind, always thought I was smart enough to do without, and I did get it done.

HOWEVER I got a manual for a car I knew nothing about a few years ago, didn't have a clue so I got a manual, my 1959 Rambler. I was blown away at how useful it is and how much easier it made everything.

I HIGHLY recommend you spring for a manual like the one I posted the link to. It's not cheap, but damn it's worth it.

Email the guy and make sure it includes the stuff you are most concerned about. If it does, buy it, done deal, you won't be disappointed.

It looks to be in super nice condition, he says it's original but it looks super nice, maybe never used? I personally like the ones with some greasy finger prints in them. My Rambler one has a book mark in it made from a carburetor gasket envelope I love stuff like that, knowing someone used it 50 years ago working on the family car or used it making money at a shop, I just dig that connection.

Be sure to double check that it has what you need! I have two for the Rambler and two for my 65 Buick, one is body the other mechanical. I have to say they kinda cross over here and there so having both may be worth it.
