1959 Apache Power Steering

Alright I have read a lot of forums, and have searched the web. Now I need advice.... I have a 1959 Apache recently purchased and first order of business is power steering. I would like to do all the work myself and I do not have welding capabilities. What should I do and or buy????? Please help out!!

first what motor do you have! is this a stock truck!! is it 4 wheel drive!! restored or needs to be!! need info and pictures of what you have!! Way to little info for a job of this size!! no matter what needs to be done you need to own a welder!! or let a shop do it!!

I'm pretty sure this kit is bolt in. A call to the company would confirm that it is and would be able to answer any other questions I'm sure.

1947-59 Chevy Truck and GMC Truck Power Steering Conversion Kit 18912

Here is another that uses a control valve and assist ram but the first kit looks to be a better system. This is a early 60's gm design and was prone to have leaking issues.

It has a 400 Small Block. The only stuff that isn't stock is the engine transmission and power fan. It's a 2 wheel drive. As far as restored it's in great shape but need some work. Pictures are coming.

Thanks for all the reply's. I have looked at all the conversion kits but can't find reviews for them. Does anyone have any experience with using conversion kit's?
