2008 Mazda 3 Rims

I got some alloy rims an i am wanting to redo them an paint the glossy black. I was working on one of my rims that the factory silvery paint was peeling off an under it is a shiny black coating. What is the best way to take the factory paint off on the other 3 wheels? An whats the proper way to refinish them so i dont have to be redoing the rims every year?

Best thing would be to send them out for powder coating. they will be bead blasted and then coated which gives a the good durable finish.

There are 4 ways...1. Hand sand or da. 2. Chemical strip. 3. Blast 4. Torch burn.
When you remove coating, then you can primer, base and clear. Just be ready for junk in clear coat that you'll have trouble sanding and buffing. Black shows everthing! By the way, glossy black under means that the wheel probably has multiple layers. It can be done....
