Engine setback

I'm very impressed with the way you handled the extra length of the straight 6. You are really whipping into shape now too.

Just found it today,too! Awsome build.Congrats! I have a 48 Chevy that has same motor.A guy told me you can get alot more power out of the 235c.i.Either way,it's a good motor I think.You can alway's change anything later.lol

Great build , but why use such out dated drivetran? That 216 is worthless on any highway. You did a great job on the build!!! Steve

Wow I didn't realize this thing was in the newsletter this month. Thanks guys!

And the drivetrain isn't dated... its period and it was free haha. Ill be looking to upgrade to a 235 with full oil pressure and insert bearings eventually. Surprisingly with the 4.11 gears it keeps up with traffic on the state highways. Can cruise at 65 without an issues. And most of the time i don't go any further than about and hour from home with it cause thats when my back and legs start cramping up. Maybe once i get an interior in it I could go a little longer. And ill post up some more pictures from the past year.

Very nice! Is this your first build? I am working on my first build now and I am impressed with how well yours turned out. I am close to your age and everyone up here thinks I am crazy for trying my hand at building one, then again I have zero experience ha!
