28 model A sedan top

I bought a soft top kit for my 28 and been doing some research on installing it. Found a really good thread on the Hamb where a guy went through it in really good detail. He used the bendable alum rain gutter on the sides so that was what I was planning on and painting the gutter black. It's a 2 piece deal that has a insert that slides over it to hide the screws and nails. While researching I found Brattons Antique Auto Parts. They have the alum drip rail but also have end caps and strips that cover each end of the top. Has anyone ever used these? From what I can tell they would have a more finished look and you could polish them up a little to break the top up some. Just curious, this will be my first A so I'm not real familiar with some of the stuff on them.

I can't believe there have been no responses on this, but it is kind of a random question. Wish I had some info for you.

I know, my top kit came with the "hidem" strips, plastic strips slid in the channel to hide the nails. I figured someone on here has put a top on one and used something different. I don't want to just use the alum rain gutters down the sides, it'll make it look unfinished.

I think Hagen Street Rods makes a slick kit for this. I don't have contact info. but I seem to remember a tech article on it that they were promoting this item. Worth a try.
