32 Ford frame number

Hi guys nice to be part of the forum can anyone help me with the following I have imported a 32 Ford coupe to the Uk and for registration purposes I need to confirm the chassis number. For this I need to remove the paint from the front rail and hopefully show the number the number on the title shows as engine number 18-****** should this be the same on the rail? The format is the same just not sure if the numbers would be

Chances are good that the number on the frame will be different than the engine number. simply because of the age of the vehicle, and engine swaps over the years. (I'm assuming this is a restoration, and not hot rod) Is it a V8 or 4 banger? Mabe this will muddy things up some: https://www.earlyfordv8.org/forum/vi...m=19&Topic=429. And another page if your '32 is a 4 banger (model "B"): Model A Ford Garage ~ Model A & B Ford Engine Serial (VIN) Numbers
