48 fleetline rear window question

I have my 48 fleetline stripped down, wondering if anyone else has eliminated the rear side window regulator/channel stuff and put in a sealed window.I don't foresee needing the rear windows to wind up and down and there's always the issue of sealing, wind noise and such. There is a pinch weld the perimeter of the opening.Just wondering if anyone else has done this.I think a person could make a template to get a piece of window glass cut.Click image for larger version

I haven't done that but it shouldn't be very hard to do. If you have a welder.
