Okay, thanks that's what I was concerned about. I found a tech diagram that shows the return going back to the transmission and then going through the Reverse Input Clutch Assembly and from there it looks like it goes to the pan maybe.
I was afraid of doing damage possibly when an Allison transmission tech said it would on an Allison, I wonder what that one uses it for, or maybe he wasn't correct...

Same same. Unless the vehicle is moving or on jack stands there is no use for concern.
