51 Wayfarer

I have a 51 Wayfarer and would like to drop a ls in it. But first I need to update the front end, and would REALLY like to do it best and cheapest way, I know go figure. I was wondering if anyone had some experience with putting the clip from a Camaro? It would give me my steering and disc brakes. I know I am reaching but hey nothing ventured nothing gained. Also if this will not work any suggestion would be appreciated. Thanks in advance Greg

It really depends on your frame, and the shape, or width. If your frame is a C channel, and not too far off on width, it is not a tough installation. Some frames of that era are more of a hat channel, and the swap to a later Camaro/Nova subframe is not a good choice. A picture of your frame would help, along with width of the frame rails.

Ball joints ?

Doesn't the car have a ball joint suspension, if so upgrades are easier than doing a front clip swap.
