BTW, I am a little unique. I just love to sand. I can spend hours in the "zone" blocking out a quarter panel

Scuffing or prepping??? Not so much.

Ahhhh, that's music to my ears! Let me know when I can bring the Chevelle out to your place. You can get into the therapeutic zone and block sand until the whole car is bare steel. I think that would be great practice for you before you get serious working on Precious, lol.

LOl, Let me be clear. Sanding anything to bare steel is not blocking. That falls under prepping.......In the zone?...... That falls under the, "Not so much"......

Hot digitty, that moves me up to position #1, as mine will be final blocking before paint. Hey, you want to paint it too, as long as it's already there ?
P. S., I already have the paint...

Sounds good to me. I'll paint it if you buy the rollers.

OK, OK I'll bring my Devilbiss Starting Line guns with, if you don't want to get yours dirty.

LOL, believe it or not, that new Iwata has not had paint put in it yet. My $12 purple gun really does well!

I promise, when it comes time for the base I will make sure it looses it's virginity!

Uh John they have cup liners now so you don't have to marry it first.
This line of equipment hygiene discussion brings to mind a potentially entertaining statistical curiosity...

In American history, I wonder how many cases of defloration have involved a '53 BelAir convertible.

Now, how many in Cuba? Which is more?

Mitch did you call Gary yet?

John, you might have wet noodle arms like Olive Oyl by time to draw your shiny gun.

Can you believe he had the audacity to go on a vacation, stay at an INN and goof off by a river...

Good for you, John. I'm ready for one too. I need a break from non-stop car work.

Thanks guys. I will try to do better after the Goodguys Nashville event. Precious has been sitting in the corner sobbing quietly for almost two weeks feeling very un-loved.

John, keep an eye peeled for my friends Joe in the fresh red '60 Biscayne, Gary in the yellow / gold Mustang, Jerry in the red /white 69 Camaro, and Alvin in the orange Roadrunner.

John, I'll be nowhere near you sitting on my green John Deere mower.
