LOL, I don't know about that. Go back and check the date this thread was started. It's been a while.

Three coats of dark red SPI base. I can not get my Ipad to show the accurate color. It looks orangeish/brownish in the picture but is actually a true red.

Interior work has to be the worst thing for me, but going in with it being so nice to begin with may just help with the dread.

I really like the interior work. For one thing it is much cleaner than the body work. It also allows you to really use your imagination and execute that design. It does not require a fortune in equipment and all of your hard work shows.

Like everything we do, the more knowledge you gain the less intimidating it becomes. There are so many sources for "how to" articles/videos available now days it is fun to research and learn.

I hear that! When I can, I spray it with a generic $12 Chinese Binks #7. Brushing it is a task for sure. For that I buy cheap chip brushes at Harbor Freight.

Some people hate the smell but it never bothered me.

The next step is to paint the dash and get the car ready to wire. First I want the floors to have a few days to cure before I cover them up or tape them.

It will be good to hear this thing run!

Doggone this is fun!:

I use an old gun and spray pot i like the not having to hold the weight and it will fit in lots of places and spray upside down,,But that is a big word,,i was looking at it sunday i forgot to clean it out when i installed the carpet in my truck,,,Dont think it will be useable agair,

I actually use vinyl top adhesive instead of contact cement.
