63 g/p

A bit new here, hope I'm in the right spot ("what did you work on today").

Two roofs (yes flex seal actually works......sometimes.....), and a 63 G/P. Sorted out some minor timing, carb issues (love the AFB, but may have to seal the welch plugs someday). The nice thing about doing adjustments on the old one is listening to the old 389 ticking over (still like the dually glasspacks).

We're also looking for someone who knows how to install the windshield and back glass (one piece rubber gasket with channels inside and out).

Oh yes, finished out a customer's ring job, and modified a necklace.....yep, helps pay for the G/P. .......

Wrong thread but howdy. You'll get there. Just clicked because I like the sound of anything Grand Prix. A 63? Cool. Show some pics if you can, they are fun cars to look at.

G/p

My apologies! I was afraid I'd made a wrong turn. Pretty nice G/P factory gold color, recent paint, interior. Most works; power windows, Roto Hydromatic (interesting, one of the shifts involves filling or draining an interior fluid coupling). Apparently spent a bit of time in 'Vegas, there was a business card from a Los Vegas Pontiac dealer taped to the case of the radio. Great for interstate driving; climbing a grade pretty much involves just "thinking" the accelerator pedal down a bit (really have to watch speed). Old ones are fun!

Thanks for the reply, and again, my apologies for heading off in the wrong direction.
