The doors off of 73 and 74 chevy Nova, Buick Apollo, and Olds Omega are a direct swap. Vega is way different. I need a set of wheel opening mouldings if you stumble upon any give me a shout. I've seen the doors sell on ebay for cheap + shipping. Bob

See if you can swap out those 74 bumpers for a 72 model or older. That will make a huge difference in the looks.

That GTO might actually go up in value, I seen one restored at a dealership nearby and they were asking for some serious coin for that car. I also think the bumpers look better tucked in, people have modified the Nova bumper brackets so that they pull the bumpers in closer to the body and I'm sure the Ventura brackets could be done the same. Does that model have the shock style front brackets or are they made of plate steel? The older model bumpers definately mounted closer to the body but the fuel tank tube location is different with the 73 and 74 coming through the rear body panel and the 71-72 going through the rear bumper license area.

it has the shock style. the reason for the value of the gto ventura is i was told that there was only around 8000 produced with a true gto package. front clip, pontiac 350 floor shift and all. most was optional at a high price but only a few was made with all options from the dealer
