do u guys know what tranny and rearend is in a 1976 chevy nova concours?

Depends on the engine. According to http://novaresource.org/axle.htm , 6-cylinder and 305 cars would have had the Turbo-200 trans and the 7.5" rear end, while cars with 350's came with the Turbo-350 trans and the 8.5" rear end.

These are general rules, however. In other words if the assembly line was short on T-200 trannys, they might have used a T-350 if there was one available. Heavy-duty versions of the 6-cyl. & 305 cars (taxis & cop cars, etc.) might also have had the heavier drive train parts.
