+ 8 Pages of HF Coupons +

In the March 2016 Motor Trend magazine... for anyone already considering purchasing something... the car magazine coupons usually have lower prices than any of the regular or 'sale' flyers... If this year same as last year, the very lowest prices may be in April and May magazines... but maybe only a dollar or two lower...

HF has a "50% Off Sale" going on, but the list prices they take 1/2 off of are so ridiculously high, the car magazine coupon prices are usually lower...

I've always said HF is the man's version of Kohl's for women. I never pay attention to their list prices anyway. Anything over $20 I use the 20% off coupon and go for either the free led lights or the scissors. Lol

If you guys only knew how many people go in there and use all the coupons for free stuff buying a keychain for 79 cents, it would blow your mind!

Blew HF's mind as well... they have a new $4.99 minimum purchase for free stuff this year... which I usually exceed anyways... (got the free magnetic parts tray, tape measures, analog and digital VOMs, LED work lights, LED flashlights (really bright with adding AAA alkalines), etc.)

Despite the coupons saying only one coupon per day, HF here let's me buy something expensive with a coupon, let's me use a free stuff coupon, and also scans the 20% off coupon in... I usually hand them 2 or 3 flyers to get all that and/or just give them the 8 digit coupon(s) number from magazines in the public library not much more than across the street from me... (paying close attention to expiration dates)

I still want the 20 Ton press and a folding 2 Ton cherry picker to replace my space consuming non-folding one... otherwise, I'm pretty well stocked with household carpentry (non-HF) and automotive tools now...
.

I see a lot of single women (don't look like hookers...) prowling the place. So far none of them were to my liking. Anyone else notice this?

I always said that I wasn't going to be one of those old guys who browse the aisles of HF. Stopped there this morning and found myself browsing the aisles. Dammit!

I've done the same thing! I have to say, I had a lot of fun with the electric toy plane.

They are rebuilding some of the malls! I went into the closest one to my home the other day with my wife for the first time in a few years, I couldn't believe the remodeling they are doing! All I can think of when I see that stuff is how I would love to get the drive to paint my kitchen. Here they are retiling a floor that is a half mile long! And the sick part is, the old floor was fine, this is just to make it different!

They opened up a few sides of it making new stores with lots of windows that you just walk up to in the parking lot instead of going into the mall to all the stores through a little door.

They tore down 3 of the 4 malls here... south, north, and east... just flat empty ground left... the 4th original first west side mall keeps growing, but they have strict security to thwart thieves, rapists, and carjackers, which scared women from the other malls and helped to doom them... they also built a couple large "New Towns" which have that 'new' concept of simply being able to drive up to the store you want and walk into it... of course, most women having a job/career now also hurt the malls, not so much time to lounge around in the malls these days...
