We go every year and yes it's huge. Lots of different stuff to look at. Plenty of race parts, antique/classic, and racing souvenirs. Dress warm though, it always feels like it's ready to snow there. If you've ever been to the swap meet at Stafford it's pretty much the same only bigger.

Is it really better/bigger than Stafford? I've been going to Stafford since it first started but missed both meets this year -because some of the "treasures" offered appear to have been there since the first show and I'm a bit discouraged - plus the infield and parking lot swamps seem to get worse every time.

Bigger isn't always better I agree. As far as size goes I would say this one is larger than Stafford but as you can imagine much of what didn't get sold at Stafford in the spring makes it to Thompson in the fall. There are a few treasures to be found in amongst all the trash that I also agree has been there since the stone age. I like to go because it's only like 20 minutes from my house.
