BBC Heads.... Worth it?

Hey guys. I am going to look at a bunch of big block Chevy parts that this guy is selling locally. They include the following:

1. Set of 3933148 BBC heads which I believe are the large oval port heads but they have smaller runners then the 781's and the 049's. These heads also have 2.25 stainless valves and come with some high lift springs from Crower as well as an after market stud girdle and chrome molly pushrods.

2. A large oval Victor Jr. intake

3. A 85551 MSD billet distributor

4. A MSD digital 6AL

5. A high dollar MSD coil

6. Morosos aluminum water pump

7. 8.5 MSD wires

And a bunch of other miscellaneous big block parts. The guy wants $600 for all of it which I know is a good deal, but I am trying to find out what you guys think the heads are worth building.

I am doing a turbo build up on my big block (two Holset HX35's) and I wanted to know from you guys if I should use these 148 heads if they are done right or stick with the 781's I have? If you guys think I should stay with the 781's, what do you guys think I should ask for the 148 heads?

Thanks.

Stay with the 781's. The 148's will not flow near enough for what you want in my opinion.

Would be worth it to buy the lot, then sell off the 148 heads and keep the stud girdle, pushrods, and everything else.
