Question BBC tall valve covers

I know this is a shot in the dark but does anyone know if i will have the clearance to put a set of CompCams Polymer valve covers on my 85 Suburban C20 3/4 ton. I read that the average hieght of a tall BBC valve cover is around 3 1/2". I'm not worried about the A/C thats been eliminated. My only concern in the brake booster it's very close. If anyone has any experiance with this type of thing PLEASE give me some input. You guys are the BBC masters I'm sure you will have some

Eric

Id say no, they wont work, I use to "dent" the corner so that I could use tall covers on a BBC in a 67 impala, needless to say, I just bought cheap chrome covers to do this, but you have to be careful to not interfere with the valvetrain..

Pimpalla? huh? sure, considering its worth about 3 or so of those "trucks" I could see your point..and thats about the exact time all youd be able to see was the tail lights.and a 4000lb blur...

get over your self. and that my dad can beat up your dad BS. If you have nothing nice to say dont post it.
BTW: I thought it went Nova (light) chevelle (heavy) Impalla (lead sled) if its so fast why dont you put it all in a nova and really go fast. ....are you Dr. Dre or something?
stop trying to be cool and race suburbans. I have some real cars if you wanna play..but you have to race trucks cause it is one.

NOW,NOW boys, don't fight. I like those big boat Impalas. A buddy of mine had one years ago with 427/4speed and 4.56 gears. Wouldn't go over 60, but you sure got 0-60 quick.
Besides, I think the Pimpala reference was a typo.

Please use your slang words on another site then, this is not the place for them.
Please read the Hotrodders Guidelines for posting.

well, I dont have it anymore, I sold it, and bought a chevelle, and ss 67 427 impala's are pretty rare..And yes, they are heavy, and yes, if I had that BBC in a nova it would have been real fast, so what? just because someone has a lead sled doesnt mean they cant go fast, but calling a 67 a pimpala could in fact make your lip sore if you said this to the wrong person..., and FYI my dad was golden gloves champion in high school sooooo, I wouldnt mess with him..and Ill tell you the truth, he loved that car, and so did I...but $$$$$ talk...I hope if you go around car show's alot youll be more careful what you say about people's cars, have a little respect or sooner or later someone will make you earn it....
