Building a home paint booth

I'm building a booth in one of my stalls in my pole barn and I need to know on my intake air do I need fans blowing air in from my ceiling or does the exhaust fans just pull the air in my intake is in the ceiling and my exhaust is on the back wall

Exhaust the air out and pull fresh air in.

the old rule of thumb for non-explosion proof fans??
its better to blow clean air in..

I like to get my exhaust down at floor level as well..makes a cleaner booth..

i was just curious if you are building modular walls. or a modular fan box with filter doors things to retain the probable home HVAC filter panels to clean the incoming air.. this way if you are building a plastic sheeting spray booth.. you can take it down and just move the wall with fans flat against another wall so you have it for next time.

explosion proof motors have NO starting contacts that may cause any solvent /paint vapors to become much more..

this is just a thought.
