cam

looking for a good competion cam to buy...what are some good brand names recommended? does it matter what brand of cam i buy?

That's a great reference bank!! I've gotta file that away.

You probably need to do some research. Cam technology is an ever changing thing. You need to talk to some cam people. The best ones are those who will talk to you about your vehicle, weight, what engine, modifications, and your expectations....and will custom-grind a cam for you, rather than trying to sell you one off the shelf.

There are many good ones, I'm sure. I've personally had good results from Ultra-Dyne and Comp Cams.

yeah thats so true, thanks for your info. all feedback gets me closer to getting the performance im after.
