Front-steer (steering box in front of under-engine crossmember) or rear-steer(steering box behind crossmember)??

Front steer is 1970-81, rear steer is 1967-69.

front steer fitment.

Front steer can be a pain to get everything to fit in an old car. Steering box in the way of radiator, fender and bumper mounts. We saved a couple when a friend that owns a recycle yard was crushinng Everything when the steel prices were up but we don't have any projects right now that they would fit in easy.

Myself I would take one of the old ones off and take it to the parts store with me. then get the ones that match what you have..

Buy 1 of each and see which 1 fits, then return the wrong one. Easiest and safest way, although maybe not the most convenient way, depending where you live!
