cast iron power glide questions.

I just purchased a cast iron power glide, have no idea what it came out of. It has a 16 spline output shaft. Does anybody make an output shaft to convert this transmission so I can mate it up to a 205 transfer case? Secondly the trans has raised casting on top saying power glide. I can't find any numbers on the case itself though there are numbers on the shift plate and a couple other plates. How does one dettermine the original application for this transmission

Your best chance of connecting that cast iron glide to a 205 t-case is a divorced setup with a short drive shaft between them. Does your cast iron glide have a vacuum modulator on it? That would narrow the year down a little bit.

Cast iron power glides are different from the aluminum versions. There are virtually no conversion/swap/aftermarket parts other than OE rebuild kits. They are not the same transmission. You'd be better off getting a different transmission because anything you'd need would be a one off custom part.
