That's all you learned in a YEAR?

The high schools around here made the mistake of getting rid of all the shops...

OK, first let's get the hemi, then we will work on a tri-power for it. If you're not made of money, don't even consider the Gen I or Gen II Chrysler hemis. Gen III hemis are probably the easiest and cheapest hemi on the planet, so call around to the boneyards in your area and find out what a late model Gen III hemi will cost you.

The intake manifold will have to be crafted from scratch, but many backyard log manifolds have been fabricated through the years by enterprising fellows who wanted multiple carburetion, but nobody made a commercially available manifold.

4-Jaw Chuck touched on some things that will have to be addressed though, before you begin shelling out money on this project....
Have you rebuilt a motor before?
Had any schooling on how to do it?
Done any research on whats involved?
Read any technical manuals on the procedures/techniques?

I'm sure you're aware, but an Olds 455 can be a real torque monster and it will be a fair amount more budget friendly than a Hemi, but not quite as budget friendly as a Chevy.
Can't believe you didn't point out the Buick 215" fake nailhead aluminum V8 has hemi heads... just need to find a tri-power intake...
