This is the glass body Bronco Footloose fixed up and fitted up.

This is that Bronco that Longhair fixed that was mangled behind the quarter, back from blasting-

Right on, Jim. 15" of glory. I sent that to Gary because I can. Ain't heard back.

I was going for the full Grape effect but am much too lazy to redo the body lines and such for a joke. So the green and tan show through the grape kool aid color and make it bluer. But what'cha wanna bet if I changed my GP's wheels into 20s and 18s it would look killer.

I'll have to do an all green side view but this idea was too tempting and I needed a hoot. This was aimed squarely at my main HRF buds (you know who you are ), because I said I'd show 15s on it if I went back to it.

Hey, awright! Theres actually a stock 30-1 Ford color that is almost exactly what the boss picked. Formulas vary pretty widely according to web pix but we mix paint so he can tune that. This should be a fair representation of Elk Point Green. It was commonly paired with Kewanee Green which is lighter. And sometimes Apple Green wheels went with that but man that color is way too loud. Elk Point makes a good Army-esque color.

Some of these edits have looked very different on various devices though. I'm gonna go ahead and call this a rendering because it is from scratch and has fairly accurate features. Except for that valve cover. Forgot to sign it somehow but I would put my mark on it if I had thought of what to put.

Nice rendering !!
I don't remember, is the army green for the owner ? A tribute to his Dad or other family member who served ?

Thanks! I tried to make this image better than the rest but wow it takes so long and theres so many details to chase. Hood gap was very last thing and it ended up without at front. For example.

You are correct, his Dad was an Army man and this was his car and a desire to offer some degree of tribute was expressed. Color seems the amicable way to do that. His own desire was to accomplish a "utilitarian" look.

With full gloss everywhere and a stock color, complaints of purists might be minimized.

Boss just asked if I can change engine and wheels to tan. Um, should I do that or go to work? lol. I am so tired.

Took fenders off to compare wheel lips. They match pretty well. Thats a relief.

I thought I would need to make extensions but dang if I wasn't able to set this rig up a little wierd and have it work-

I had guesstimated 5" wheel backspace but it looks as though 6 is more like it-

Theres 1" or so of shim under the body right now but as you can see the coilovers and control arms will need adjustment for sure-

Mike tigged the E9 cage together-
