Very cool, but could you please take those front wheels off and throw in them in the garbage, they aren't even good enough to roll a cool car like that around the shop.

Y'all sound like kids who stamp their feet and hold their breath when your folks say lets go to goodwill and get you some school clothes. These are all I get. That and lip service if I ask for something different. I learned to shut up and move it with a jack, and air up a tire when measurements seem wrong.

No matter where ya go or who you hang out with, you're the wrong age. If someone isn't saying you're too old, they are thinking you're too young. You can't get out of it alive.

On oh... early pages I bellyached about the wheels. First thing when it came to my stall I says can I get Joe to make us another set of pizza cutters. I was thinking I'd get some of the metal ones. Metal ones? Right on! OK...

...and here we are. No matching jack stands and not enough of them. It takes four at the back right now because the aprons have to be blocked up with no floor pan in it. In 7 1/2 years, this has come up once or twice before and I know how to handle it. Don't like looking at them any better'n the rest of ya. Just be glad it ain't you dodging the rusty cords.

Visor extensions welded to visor now, but I will cut tacks and remove the visor shortly so I can slide the roof inside the car. Decided I want the roof on to open doors. Been evening out the roof opening edges and trimming old flanges off. Working now on a first roof support bow. Starting with a piece of 16 gauge angled sheetmetal I had been using for bracing, and you can see shrink marks where I've been standing on the jaws to give it some arch. Looks about right to me now, not flat but not quite as crowned as the roof at it's edges. I believe the insert panel is intended to be almost flat in the center. I am envisioning this cross piece as the middle of an H with the sides lining up to the old rear window panel seam. Also planning to use a 1x3 directly over the B pillars, more as part of the foundation structure, this is just skin support. Designing as I go and loving it. Perfect weather today, fun project... who can ask for more?

Not done fitting the roof but closing in on it. Its going to need probably three bows for support. The car is looking much less crazy and outta whack to me already but this part is very tricky. Oh and duh... the insert went in through the windshield hole. It is overlapped at the rear for ease of fitting plus fit is better that way due to the mangled rear window panel. Boy and its tough shrinking 16 ga, I might make the whole set in 18 but either way at least one of them will connect to tubing.

Another duh moment today... I got the old wooden support out and used part of it after struggling for support in the correct shape. Figure I can use it as patterns but don't think anybody would fuss if I just used part of it-

I am finally satisfied with the passenger side roofline. Does it look like a Model A shape to you guys?

The visor is on there crooked, see tape measure. What I am showing you in this pic is the passenger side roof top against that garage door seam. I am happy with that shape and intend to match the driver's side to it. Driver's roof side is a little flat up front but those visor extensions will be matched up and that will help me match the roof side shapes, along with some cardboard templates maybe.

Looks too flat against the door line behind it.
I'm no expert on these cars by a long shot but appears like no crown.

Actually looks to dip in center,,but my eyes could be deceiving me,
but if you look at the door seam there is less showing in the center so it has to be higher than the sides...
