Eastwood's "100% Lifetime Satisfaction Guarantee"??

Anyone ever had the opportunity to use Eastwood's 100% lifetime satisfaction guarantee?

If so, how did it work out?

Just wondering!!

Considering purchasing a MIG 175 welder from them.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE don't flame me because I am not planning to purchase a Lincoln, Hobart, Miller or HF(LOL) welder. I am just wanting to hear from someone that actually has experience with Eastwood re their guarantee.

Thanx,

Tom

hobart makes a good mig welder. No need to go eastwood for mig. For Tig, Eastwood makes sense. It's the cheapest chinese TIG welder that comes with a good warrantee. I'd say their customer service is great The first Tig I bought from them was supposed to come with a sheet metal gauge, didn't come with it, but they next day aired it to me when I called about it. Years later I decided I wanted to weld aluminum and it was out of the 3 year warrantee. I didn't like the non adjusting post flow as it wasted gas, that and the tank was just too little, making it non efficient. They agreed to allow me to pay the difference to get the AC/DC one which welded aluminum, with a brand new 3 year warrantee, swapped my tank out when I set it up, and have been very happy. Their customer service is great considering their welders are made in China.
