Electric Cooling Fans - Top Manufactures

Besides "SPAL" brand electric cooling fans, what are a few other top rated company's that produce electric fans?

I have always used Spal fans..always been good for me.. is there a reason you want something different ?

I too have run spals. Currently running Maradynes champion series M122, which is the higher amp one vs their M123 Maradyne High Performance Fans with no problems at all.

The last car had a SPAL, the current one has a CCM (part of Walker Radiator Co.) and fan blade actually looks like a SPAL as well

Both were/are good as far as moving LOTS of air. The nice part with the CCM is the integral shroud that fits my '32 radiator as well as a couple of relief flaps. It also has a strong mounting bracket.

This is the CCM -

If there's room for a puller, Cooling Components fans are my first choice too.

Lately, I've been wiring them to be 2-speed and using a Dakota Digital PAC-2700 digital fan controller and a temp sensor in the lower radiator tank. It works so good, you wouldn't even believe it.

I've used SPAL fans for years with good results.

A Flex-a-Lite almost took off a couple of my fingers a few years back. That thing was awesome :mwink:

I am using a Cooling Components shrouded electric fan with good results. They are pretty low profile for limited space.

This is the photo I 'alluded to' above. Sorry, but occasionally things just don't happen as planned:

Ooops - this site does it to me again
