My test stand has castors that also have feet that lift the castors off the ground by stepping on a pedal. I never had a problem with it moving at all, even when blipping the gas. I since sold the test stand. I do however want to make another one that bolts together so when not in use I can store it easier.

Great suggestions, and Eric, that's the exact stand I bought and plan to use. I will reinforce it of course, and then build a gauge board and radiator stand out of wood and plywood. Thanks everyone for the great advice!
