Engine weights

Anyone know the weight of a 389 Pontiac engine complete? And for comparison how bout a big block Chevy and a hemi. I'm trying to select the correct spring rate for my resto rod.

Thanks in advance.

Most of my pontiac engines have shipped at just under 700 lbs with the pallette and goodies, so that site's 650 figure is about right.

A Pontiac is a little heavier than a small block Chevy, but lighter than a big block, even though it has a taller deck (10.23").
