final filter at hvlp gun

I was wondering if those disposable filters you attach to your inlet of your gun are a good idea on a hvlp. The one I have looks like it would be a restriction.

You hit the nail on the head. I've been told they create a restriction.

You are exactly right, it will be a restriction. Better to have a good filter at the hose connection with the regulator. You can adjust the pressure and have the proper filter all in one place.

A good filter at the hose connection is all you need. Those filters at the gun make things too cumbersome.
