Post A flying Lady for a Hood - what car is it for ?

Hello everyone! Does anyone know what this Flying lady is for?
And it fits what type of a car ?
It does not have any part numbers any where.
The top of the Lady comes off.
Or maybe someone know where I can find some info.

I found an emblem like yours, although not near as nice for sale on flebay. They claim it is from a 1946 Nash.

slotted wings ?

I have a similar one with a slot in the wingss for a piece of glass. the one was missing on my 36 pontiac so i used it. I was told it was a 39 caddy.
