Follow up on leaking brake lines

Well.....My neighbor is an onsite farm equipment repair guy, after looking at a baler issue, I asked him to look at these brake lines. He picked up a 3/8 wrench and torqued it down like I couldn't believe. He said 40 lbs of torque. that was the problem, I just wasn't tightening them enough. Live and learn. There was nothing wrong with the lines nor the fittings.

You need a good line wrench too, regular open ends just round the corners off. Sneaky bastards that make up new brake lines and even the bleeders, some are 10mm, good to have one of those wrenches as well.
