front end quarries
Well im trying to put together the front clip on my 70 Mercury Cougar . Now i don't quite know the proper name for, and where to fine all the bolts and nuts i will need (fasteners, clips etc...) Do i just call it a front end assembly kit . Also im not too sure the price of this kit. I would hate to get "took" and pay way too much for it! So any help would be greatly appreciated.
thanks alot bill

I doubt if they sell a bolt kit for that.......may be wrong.
What happened to the bolts you took out? If you don't have them, you may have to gpo to a wrecking yard and get them...... Most fender bolts are a pretty common item.

Well Poncho i bought this as a basket of parts. I got the car with the whole front clip off and in boxes, along with the motor in the same shape. I've got the motor running and in, now for the front. But i'm learning as i go, so some parts i have i don't know where they go and some i've been told to get i don't know what they look like. As for if its available(assembly kit) well im going on my friend who bought one for his 71 chevelle. With my car i also need help with the hideaway headlights which look good but more of a challenge installing. I believe i have most of the more obvious parts but as i know there's always lots of "less obvious" parts.
thanks for the quick response bill |

Even more reason to go to a wrecking yard, and take your camera. Take all the pictures you can of a front end. It will help you figure out where stuff goes. Especially with those hidden headlights.
