Gettin on my Soapbox w/Profiler

2.5 years ago i tried ordering heads direct from Profiler. They gave me the run around for 3 months and wound up going w/Dart on the build. Fast forward to April 2019. Dropped 6Gs on parts from a major vendor (not the Ohio based one), Profiler heads were on that list. Told the guy, that's the one part I reckon problems will occur with. Fast forward again to today, still don't have them. Had a few back and forth emails w/vendor asking about order but told em' i'm not in a hurry but would like to see these heads or otherwise. Today, actually called the vendor. I say 'actually' because i'm not really a phone guy and am generally pretty laid back. They've always done me right and assured me they were going to bat for me. Great customer service as always and wish i could give em a shout out but know the rules on this forum. Anyhoo---all that's to say is this: I really do think Profiler makes a great head and a helluva friendly price.....but what is it with these IDIOTS? Freakin hire some more people if you can't keep up w/demand! Wonder if others have the same problems w/Profiler?

******* Profiler. Everyone who recommends Profiler tells the truth, helluva a head at a helluva price. What it seems is not spoken, can you wait 4-8 months on receiving the head? I say this based on experienced. Done a few builds in the past and tried going Profiler------No *********** more. On this build, found compatible specs in Brodix, but's its going to cost me $5-600 more. Word to Profiler------********** clean up your act and keep up w/**********demand.

Were you trying to buy direct from ProFiler, or through a distributor, or from a porting/cylinder head specialist dealer??

Just a bit of info...the Jegs house brand head is a Profiler casting. (At least it was a year or so ago)
The ATK performance head line head is a Profiler casting made especially for ATK with a stock exhaust port location(actual Profiler has raised exhaust ports)

I can understand your frustration if it really is a problem with casting availability.

Often, dealers and distributors get priority over direct single sales....it's not fair, but many times a company prioritizes keeping it's bigger client customers happy because of the higher sales volume they provide.

In this particular case, the order was placed through a MAJOR vendor which is why I'd rightfully thought 'hey, things might be different here.' In previous historical cases, I'd tried direct with Profiler, nothing but shaking my head after months and going w/ another brand. Good to know too what you mentioned Nova.

For anyone out there viewing this thread, be aware that if you want to go w/Profiler heads, be prepared with what comes along w/that if you're willing to wait for Santa Claus to appear and climb down that chimney. Ask me how i know this....

BTW too, going w/a set of Brodix heads for this particular build as its specs are near close to identical to the Profilers, going to cost me though about $300 more. I'd asked my Dad today if he could contact Brodix for me on the particular set of heads i thought was most compatible, ascertain they if they were flowed on 28" water, etc. He called me a while ago and gave the green light. He did say too that the Brodix tech he talked to was well aware of the type of service, wait lines, etc. that comes w/Profiler. One other major head vendor i last dealt with also shared the same/similar story on Profiler. Done posting on this unless others want to continue the mantle..
