Good shifter cover replacement for hurst ?

I've got the hurst promatic 2 in my car, it's sorta like a ratchet shifter where you can pull down from drive, shifting it into a lower gear, then slap it up violently to shift up like a standard. Loads of fun. Problem with this, is, it came with a cheesy plastic cover that i've just beat the hell out of over time banging gears & i'm looking for a replacement, preferably rubber or some sort of boot. I just don't want to order something online then it not be the right fitment for my application, but these things are harder to find in person nowadays.

If you have access to a sewing machine you can make one. Post up what the shifter looks like?

Interesting thought, hmm. I might do that when I get home from work.
