Holley Carb Question

does someone know if there is a vaccum port on the primary metering block of a 780,3310-1 holley carb for a GM.i took it apart to clean and rebuild and am all but certain i did not lose it so i don't think there is one but on the other hand the other five,750 3310's do have it.there is a hole where it would be and it is the right block,i looked up the block #'s.

On the 3310-1s, the 780 CFM models, there is a threaded vacuum nipple that goes into the metering block.

There is also a threaded full time vacuum port on the throttle arm side of the main body. Don't forget to plug it.

hey lluciano77 i asked a short time ago about anyone being able to I.D. a ford 4628 carb. and you gave me some info.i was looking at it the other nite and the large vaccum port on the base plate comes out the front of the carb.other than that it looks very much like a 3310 780.why does it come out the front?was it used as 2 fours or is it just like that?don'r remember ever seeing one come out the front before.
