I have been grappling with the problem of how to attach my formed sheet metal to the hinges and latch as well and stiffen the whole unit up.

I have drawn inspiration from a fellow hot rodder who appears on several forums. He is a very skilled craftsman when it comes to sheet metal panel work.

So right now I am planning to some how form/make an inner panel out of sheet metal and lay one of the other so to speak.

In the process of getting my head around what bead roller forms will work best for my inner panel, I have managed to break the adjustment screw pivot point on my homemade bead roller.
So today I spent some time fixing it and beefing it up. I may have been a little too ambitions in how much adjust I should be taking during each run.

Nevertheless, it was good to find and fix it ready for more work later.
