horsepower?

Hey all , how much fwhp do you think a lt1 would have with lt4 heads that has been ported and machined intake valves out to 2.02, cam shaft specs 584/579 lift 292/300 duration and running the gm performance carb intake with a edelbrock 750 cfm carb and yes the lt4 heads have bee hive springs rated for up to 620 lift.

Parts compatibility is key, what's the c.r.? Exhaust? That cam has a lot of duration, without more information, hard to tell if things are working together.

I agree on the cam , the engine was a gift from my son . He was building it then bought a 2005 gto and went the ls route. So back to what i have it has factory forge pistons so the compression ratio should be 10.4 to 1 , the heads are suppose to flow 265 cfm, headers are 1 3/4 shorty headers

Wow Rwenuts, suppose to have means the info i received with the heads was word of mouth so lets rephrase that part for you and say the heads flow 265 cfm. Guys im not looking for a dead perfect number here, i just want a ballpark figure ( and to Rwenuts that means +or - 30hp ) this LT1 is a 4 bolt main it was a factory recall because gm decided to put hyperutetic ( i hope thats spelled right lol) pistons in place of the forged

shorty headers are a poor choice. what are the cam specs at .050,also include icl/lda?Im guessing its a roller hydraulic? Is the engine a factory assembly or was it blue printed and rebuilt?
If the heads flow 265 cfm,it better make 400 plus hp!
