How do I remove the trunk handle?

Hi, I want to have a key cut by a locksmith for the trunk handle on my 1939 chevy 2dr sedan. I do not have the original key for the trunk, so the locksmith said to taske the handle off, bring it in and he could cut a new key for it. So...how do I go about removing the trunk handle?

How about some detailed pictures?

I would be imagine that there will be a couple of bolts & some clips but 26 years before I was born I don't know for sure ...yet

How do I remove the trunk handle

Thanks, Rob and others who responded. That was the info I needed and I will now tackle the removing of the handle. It looks like it should be pretty straightforward.
