Iwata supernova

Hey guys, I'm looking to buy a iwata supernova. I am not sure what to buy. There are many different models and I'm confused. This will be my clear gun I have a sata 4000 hvlp carl avery for base and a prolite I use for every thing. So which one should I go for the ws400 ls400 evo? Entch?hd? 1.3, 1.4 ? Or should I just get a lph400 lvx and use it for base and clear like my prolte?

Thanks!

I personally recommend a Sata 4000 RP 1.4 for clear, but that's my perference. I have a w400 Iwata that I use for small jobs (think 1 panel), but it is just too slow for me to use very much. I don't have any experience with the other Iwata guns, but most people seem to be posting good comments about the LPH400 with the silver cap and 1.4 tip.

Iwata Supernova

I use the ls400 Supernova with a 1.3 tip for SPI Universal clear since that's the only CC I use. It lays the clear like glass. I haven't had the opportunity to use a Sata so I can't say it's better or worse.

I'm not a pro, I do jobs at my pace. The 1.3 is probably too slow for a production painter. Others more qualified may have a different opinion.

regards

Ron
