I finished the relay board today. And I gave it the 1st coat of paint. I scrounged a 1/4 inch thick brass plate i had and I drilled and tapped many holes in the plate. I plan on using them to screw eye terminals on wires to get the hot + 12 volts to the relays. This has ample amp capacity and I will never have all the relays operating at the same time. I may not ever use them But I have them if I do and Ill use them as needed. relays are useful when you can find the proper switch to carry a large amp capacity. They are expensive most are made in China now and burn up as you look at them. Plus the relays were free.

I hung my free horns today the photo shows the horns vertical I later put them Horizontal because of water etc. I also started to make a board to holds 8 or ten relays which I saved from the Merkur. All free I will use the relays as needed.

A bit more done today , I mounted my Fuse panel and bundled some wires taped them and pointed them in the proper direction.. I also made a mount for my speedometer cable that is spliced something the turbo used. But i need it spliced together to use the speedometer. Plus I finished screwing the bottom edge of the dash to the tubes.

Short a day 2.5 inches of rain yesterday and Tornado watches no work in shop/ But today after splitting wood I did a little on the fuse panel. I made a cover and painted it. plus I touched up my horns with some black paint. And I installed some heavy duty grounds under the dash area for the electrical items.

Boy modifications never end I wired the switch and found the master rod was to short, giving me half pedal. I had to machine an extender rather than make a new one. I made a 2 inch piece, hollow on one end the receive the original rod and tapered on the master side to go in the master cylinder. This worked and I added longer wires to avoid getting my head banged around under the dash. I have a photo of a light on the running board being lit up by pressing on the brake pedal. It looks like everything works ok , i think I am all set there. I then hooked up the brake line balance assembly to see what i need to do to get everything under the hood. It looks like ill have to make some bends to get everything tucked under the hood. Got a few snaps
