I cut out the dash framing and moved it back 6 or 7 inches towards the engine bay. This will give me some more room to adjust things to my liking. I also slanted the windshield by 30 degrees this will also give me added room for adjustments. I spent all morning doing the cut outs and adding new pieces. So I have a Coupe with a slightly slanted windshield. This will make my wind shield wipers fit more easily the ones i am using went to a slanted windshield. This took way longer than I thought it would. But I think it will be better in the long run, it is not readily apparent that this will look good yet. Its hard to tell until i'm finished with the framing and sheet metal work around the windshield. I started one piece of metal sheet on the right side cowl area. I have a photo showing the clamped piece. I will weld it tomorrow if I still like what I see in the AM.

The photo with the Merkur dash sitting in the windshield area of the Coupe is to get an idea of what this may look like. And also the fit of where i have to cut this to get it to fit and anything else I may have to modify
