Shop is clean, I plan on moving the merkur in the shop to chop it into a pickup this winter. I painted the underside of the Coupe dash to deter rust. Its all put back together. And installed in the car

Getting ready this week to move in the 1986 Merkur that I want to start cutting it down to a Ranchero style pickup. I am cleaning up the shop to make room and more junk to the dump. This is an ongoing thing collecting stuff. Anyway the week end is the planned move. Then maybe I can get some full photos of the Coupe when I roll it out for the 1st time. Sept 13 was the 1st year anniversary of when I started the Coupe. So its a year old

Lazy day I added some mounting tabs to the fuse panel. plus i made a home made grommet for the wires to exit the panel. All from a hose from an old Dish washer from the dump. Nice size and right material.

Put a coat of paint on the fuse box to stop the wood from sucking up moisture. Also i hung my dual oil filter set up from the old racing days. i hung it where it would be out of the heat sources and be able to change the filters easily. Most other places not enough room to have both environments. looks good where it is and easy maintenance. Plus i tested a bunch of switches I may use down the road.
