I constructed the chassis rails from 4" X 2" X 3mm steel and used 11/2 box and 2 X 1 box to make the crossmembers. Where I altered the side I added 5mm fish plates for extra strength. I made a rotisserie to help access it while I weld and grind and grind and weld .....

03-22-2005 03:16 AM Robs 34 - Dash
I decided to alter the dash configuration from the look in the older entries to a stylised version of a 34 dash, I made wooden inserts for the glovebox and the twin gauges. I am thinking about placing a swing down gauge set for driving. The last image is of the blend between the door and the dash.

02-01-2005 09:00 PM Where theres a wheel theres a way
I actualy had a win last weekend, I was working on my sisters house at the beachside town of Goolwa here in South Aus and decided to drop in on a local rodder I had asked about wheels a few months ago. He had dug up a pair of 1970s Magnum eliminators in 14x6 which had eluded me for the last two years. They look really cool and were the ducks guts in the sexenties. This is good because the roadster is being built how I would have done it had I the resources back then. Photos soon - honest
