Now comes the hard part. Which wires to cut and which ones to save, so it doesn't blow up when I start it. Anyone know where to rent a bomb squad? Man that is a big box.

04-26-2018 06:23 PM Now on to the front clip
Ok, getting everything ready for the Coyote install. Smoothing the firewall. Welding in the new Fatman front clip and goodies. New wiring harness, a new Dakota digital instruments cluster, and installed the air conditioning. Progress!

04-13-2018 05:36 PM Restomodding my 61 Country Squire
Well here goes ready of not. some of you might remember my 61 Impala restomod. I am now starting to do the same to a 61 Country Squire. I was going to keep the original 390ci and just add a overdrive auto tranny. However, a funny thing happened on a road tour. My torque converter killed the thrust bearing in the engine and also made the tranny pump to quit working. (more on that later) I am installing a 2014 Coyote engine and a 6r80 tranny and anew Fatman front clip, with power rack & pinion, tubular a-arms, and coilovers. Thought I would start with some pictures. Interior first. More pictures to come.
