Pic 1: I made a template to cut the 4 pcs req'd for 1 collector.

Pic 2: I cut 4 pcs from 1-1/2" s/s tube 6" long. 1 end is 3/4 of the 1-1/2" dia tube and the other end is 1/4 distance around a 2-1/2" dia tube. After they were cut I knocked down the small end to 2-1/2" dia.

Pic 3: 4 pcs tacked to a pce of 2-1/2" dia tube.

12-20-2007 07:26 PM Headers-Minor Adjustment
Pic 1 : I had the turn down running the right way ( arrow) at this time and had checked the spark plug socket to see if it fit.

Pic 2 : I inadvertently took off the elbow and turned it forward to use more pipe not thinking about the spark plug because I had already checked it.

Pic 3 : Lucky I got a PM from BURNT OLDS about how tight #6 plug looked. I went out and saw that I had even more adjusting to do.I cut open the pipe and installed a dog leg in the pipe.

12-15-2007 05:43 PM Headers-Fifth Attempt
Sure not easy getting all the tubes the same length and still getting them to fit in the truck. I believe this is the fifth attempt but I got the tubes all within 1" of each other.

I took apart everything I've done and started again (twice). I removed the bars off the top and bottom and welded some 3/8" round bar between the flanges as the bars were interfereing with the heads that are on the truck.
