Little Hot Rod?

Not really a Hot Rod but cool. This was in a customers house, I happened to go down to the garage for something else and saw these. The guy is tall and he has never even sat in the race car.

That is so awesome. It would be so much fun. I wonder what it weighs? 1200 lbs?

The motor is an old old flathead 8, I think just over 200 ci. Note the leather hood straps and the hand pump to pressurize the fuel tank, may be from an earlier engine. If I weren't almost as tall as him I would have asked to get in it.

I drove a Formula Ford a few times when I took a racing class but that was a little bigger but lighter. I think just under 1000 lbs without a driver.

That is or once was called a midget. I think there is a Cushman scooter, dressed in blue in behind the car. Its rival was a Trump Tiger Club. No brainier as to which was the preferred ride 1960s
