thanks for your reply.I have been off line for the month. I'm at a dead end. tried the gas can connected to the fuel pump (2 different pumps) still no gas. reconnected 3/8" fuel line and still no gas. I have a 3/8" fuel line, 1/4" return line, 5/16" vapor/vent line, the fuel fill hose &5/8" fuel fill vent line. I checked to make sure the sending pickup tube was in the gas & it is. if you have anymore thoughts please let me know. Thanks Gatoraid

I also forgot that if you have the electric fuel pump still in the tank I would remove it and hook up a piece of steel line to reach the bottom of the sending unit and I got a new sending unit for my truck and I will be using a piece of cut off steel fuel line and use a compression fitting to fit it on. In all my builds running a mechanical pump I could never get any fuel to pull through unless I removed the electric fuel pump in the tank.

so sorry I did not get back to you earlier as I did not see the message as I don't get messages to often. Since your not using any pollution stuff that is how I have mine hooked up. I have the main line hooked up and will be installing a return line here soon and I have the vent tube that has the rollover shutoff valve vented to the open air and and other port I have plugged off and it should not give you any issues of vapor lock. Vapor lock comes from excessive heat and making the fuel boil in the lines.
